Ultem (PEI)

Ultem (PEI - Polyetherimide) is a high-performance amorphous thermoplastic with excellent strength, heat resistance, and flame retardancy. It is one of the few plastics certified for aircraft interior use (FAR 25.853) and can be repeatedly steam-sterilized.
